Mendes controlling Yahya on the ground. Rani bursts and gets back to his feet. Again, Yahya throws a few punches but Chad gets him down. Rani had Chad's neck for a moment but lost it. Full guard. Omoplata attempt by Rani...failed. Chad gets back to his feet and Rani stands. Kicks from Chad as 45 seconds remain in the fight. Rani is stalking Chad, looking to stop him but Chad shoots and gets the takedown. Fight ends. 10-9 Mendes and Mendes wins the fight 30-27 or 30-28.

Late rush by the Cypriot. Little action in the round but 10-9 for Costantinos due to the action early in the round.
Round 2: Both fighters throwing hooks and Costantinos rocks Rivera who drops and turtles up. Costantinos is throwing punches but Jorge gets up and reverses the position, getting on top of Costantinos. Jorge throwing bombs as Philippou defends. They stand. Again they stand and throw bombs. They clinch and throw knees and shots to the body. Uppercut by Philippou. Left hand by Costantinos. Rivera reverses the position against the cage. Trip by Jorge as he takes Philippou down but Costantinos has an omoplata going. He is struggling to finish the submission as Jorge is trying to survive. Round 3: Costantinos lands an uppercut as Jorge lands a knee. Headkick by Rivera but he slips. Right hand by Rivera rocks Philippou. They clinch and separate before throwing more hooks. Foot stomps by Philippou up against the cage. Knee by the Cypriot. Takedown stuffed by Rivera who has a guillotine choke attempt. Rivera gets on top. Punches and knees by Rivera who is finishing the round and fight in control. They stand back up for the final 30 seconds. Punches are thrown by both fighters as the fight ends. Punches to the body by Brian. Hallman working the choke. Brian escapes. Punches from Brian followed by elbows. Huge punches from Brian as Dennis is bloodied. Ground and pound from Ebersole. More punches from Brian and the referee steps in to stop the fight.

Middleweight Division: Vitor Belfort versus Yoshihiro Akiyama:
Round 1: They touch gloves. Headkick missed by Vitor. Answered with a legkick by Akiyama. They judge their distances with jabs before Vitor rushes in and lands a left hook that rocks "Sexyama". Akiyama retreats but Vitor drops him and lands bombs to knock Akiyama out cold. The referee stops the fight.

Knee to the body hurts Tito and Evans throws punches forcing the referee to save Tito.
